About Josh Bitterman – Owner of Corvallis Building & Fence

Corvallis Building & Fence is proudly owned and operated by general contractor Josh Bitterman. A native of the Philomath and Corvallis areas, Josh first made a name for himself in local athletics, especially baseball. He went on to serve in the U.S. Navy from 2011 to 2015, demonstrating his dedication and commitment to helping others.

For the past decade, Josh worked with Samaritan Health Services, pursuing his passion for serving the community through patient care. In his free time, he developed a love for home remodeling, woodworking, and construction—often partnering with his close friend, Michael Rohrer, on fencing and renovation projects. What started as a side passion steadily grew into a calling. After ten years in healthcare, Josh made the decision to pursue contracting full time, carrying forward the same heart for helping people in a new and hands-on way.

Josh lives in Corvallis with his wife, Deana, their daughters Brooklin and Kyra, and their three dogs. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, game nights with friends, chasing after his toddlers, training for runs, and biking around town.
